REQUIREMENTS

The following are required for B3 compatibility with your bicycle/Xtracycle

Rack

Your bicycle must be outfitted with an Xtracycle Sport Utility Bicycle to use the B3. If you do not have an Xtracycle equipped bicycle and are not interested in one, you should check out the Mini B3, suitable to be used on most any bike. Why do we make a blender for an Xtracycle? Well, aside from the inherent advantages of Xtracycle transportation, it is the perfect way to haul a blender, fruit and juice you want to blend, a sign to help you sell your smoothies, and a helpful friend all at the same time. Not to mention the fact that installing and removing the B3 from your Xtracycle is a snap, literally.

Bicycle

Most bicycles are compatible with an Xtracycle. Every Xtracycle is compatible with the B3. Check with Xtracycle if you're concerned about your bicycle's covertability.

Wheels

An Xtracycle is spec'd for either 26" (Mountain Bike size) wheels, or 27"/700c (Road/Hybrid size) wheels. When you purchase your B3, you will be prompted to let us know which size wheel/Xtracycle combo you are running, and we will set up your blender appropriately.

Tires

Between 1.25" and 3" in width. Tires with minimal tread will perform better.Some tires with tread will NOT be compatible with the Mini B3. Recommended Tires include: IRC Metro Duro, Panaracer Pasela, Ritchey Moby-Bite.

Stand

The B3 is sold with a Rock Steady Stand, as part of the B3 Starter Package. The Rock Steady stand is a simple, yet incredibly durable and useful jack-stand for your Xtracycle equipped bicycle which elevates the rear wheel a few inches off of the ground for bike blending, or simply for loading and unloading your heavy cargo.
