Calling All Bike Blenders - Day of Action

Attention all bike blenders, B3's, homemades, or otherwise. A day of action called Step it Up 2007 has been set for this coming Saturday, April 14th, one week before earth day. Demonstrations are slated to happen across the country calling attention to the need for bold action on the part of Congress set specific and meaningful goals to abate global warming.
What a great opportunity to bust out the old bike blender, make some drinks, engage folks in conversation, and turn some heads. Please let us know here at the Juice Peddler what events you'll be at so we can help spread the word!
So far, we know of a Fender Blender in use at Sea Otter Classic Mountain bike race on Saturday(not exactly a part of the event, but we hereby declare any bike event to be a step in the right direction!). As well, a bike blender in use at a elementary school event in Tucson, AZ. Keep it coming!

My blender was in the shop getting its fender dremeled to accommodate it ... but my Gazelle went.
http://www.bikeblender.com/minib3_buy.html, by the way, has a dead link to the "buy a Jamis bike" option.
I'll be doing a "professional development" session here at the college on "blending bicycling into your life" this Tuesday. If you're in Shampoo-Banana, come on by :)
Link repaired. Thanks for the heads up and thanks for rocking your B3.
Oh, yes, that makes three events I know bike blenders worked on Step it Up day (1 week ago). A solar rock and roll show in Tucson, an event in Maryland at St. Mary's College, and Clif Bar reports the Fender Blender a big hit at Sea Otter in Monterrey, CA.
Today's Earth Day...Any bike blenders out there?
I can't remember if this was a postus interruptus or I forgot... but I seem to have lost the wide rubber strip that lines the place between the blender jug and the part that goes on the bicycle. I had somebody just hold the blender in place so it didn't go round and round but it didn't seem to be working as efficiently (could have been my imagination, though). How can I best replace that thingy? I want to do lots of blending this summer :) :)
You can replace your worn or missing gaskets and square drivers here.
Ouch... ten bucks shipping... going to try some improv first.
That does seem a little high. I'll fix that. I believe it can fit in a US mail in an envelope, so I think that's only 41 cents. Email me at nate@bikeblender.com if you would like to get one asap. We're also trying out some new materials -- I'd love to know what you think! Nate
